Life is a process. Get Messy.

The chaos of the world can feel isolating. Our nervous system is often on overdrive trying to metabolize the current news cycle and the doom scrolling. We all need ways to pause, breathe, and be present — quieting the noise of the world for moments of our days.

Creativity is an antidote to the chaos in the world and our lives.

I’ve started a micro-creativity practice — my son is doing it with me.

Join us and start a micro-creativity practice of your own. You might just walk away with more confidence, new skills, and a calmer nervous system

Every few days, I will post my micro-creativity moments below.

// Micro-creativity: (noun) Tiny, simple actions that require minimal effort, are easy to start and stick with, and are done consistently using imagination

// Practice: (verb) Perform an activity repeatedly or regularly in order to improve or maintain proficiency

  • A daily, intentional, and consistent way to give yourself permission and a nudge to pause daily, be in the moment, with no worry about the outcome.

Take 10-20 minutes a day and create something. Zero pressure and no shame.

  • Absolutely. You do not have to think or believe you are an artist or are creative. You get to leap into the unknown, be raw, unfiltered, and vulnerable, and see what inspiration happens during your daily micro-creativity moments. This is a way to get quiet, pause, and see what happens. It is not about the final result or producing (although that might happen). It is a time to clear your mind.
